Wish I had read these reviews about the drawers. Ours broke too. It's almost $175 to replace. Based on reviews the replacement will likely break. Overall the refrigerator is good space-wise.
another broken draw

This bin is just another cr@ppy part to a completely cr@ppy refrigertor. We;ve had this refrigerator for 4 years. During that time, we have replaced the led lights in the freezer TWICE. We paid extra for led lights because they were supposed to last longer. HA! And how many people does it take to replace the led lights on a GE refrigerator? 0 because you have to pay a GE technician to come and do it, at a a cost of over $300 for the service call and the light board. Then 3 months ago, the main board went out. SO, another service call and $250 for a new board for over $500 worth of repairs. During these 4 years, every single "bin" has broken. We thought we would replace the worse one, the meat bin, and find that they want over $200 for it and it is the exact same cr@ppy quality as the one that broke. We are really ready to just throw this piece of cr@p out, lick our wounds, and buy a new refrigerator. You can be assured, it won't be a GE. Nor will any of our future appliances. (So a one star is WAY generous!)

The bottom bin was poorly designed. When you pull it out, you can feel its deformation. It doesn't take long to break it even in normal daily usage. It is very costly to replace it as well. I am not happy about this.
Terrible design flaw.

This part broke early on after owning this refrigerator for a little over a year. Thought I would look for a replacement part and to my dismay, to buy the replacement parts (three in total) it will cost well over $250. Very disappointed in this product!
